A demo of "Drum" leaked online in June 2023. The song was not on the final track listing of Tension, but was the sixteenth track on the bonus deluxe edition of the album, which was released during album release week.
On November 6, 2023, the track was made available for a brief period of time in a new version of the album titled Tension (Bonus Deluxe Edition) to streaming services before it was taken down.
