"Getting Closer" is a song by Kylie Minogue that was released on 20 July 1987 as the B-side to her debut single "Locomotion", alongside "Getting Closer".

Recorded during the sessions for Kylie's debut studio album, "Glad to Be Alive" did not appear on the main track listing of the album. It was released as one of the B-sides to Kylie's first single "Locomotion", released in Australia. The 7" mix was then released on the third instalment of Greatest Remix Hits, released in 1998.
It was later included on the 2014 re-issue of Kylie.
