"Ocean Blue" is a song by Kylie Minogue, recorded during the sessions for her seventh studio album Light Years (2000).
Background and composition
The song was co-written by Kylie and Steve Anderson, whilst the production was handled by the latter. It runs for four minutes and twenty-two seconds, is written in the key of A major and is set at a tempo of 128 beats per minute.
Release
Though the song was written and recorded during the sessions for Kylie's seventh studio album Light Years (2000), the song did not appear on any editions of the album. It did, however, appear as the B-side to "On a Night Like This", which was released as the album's second single in September 2000.
Live performances
Kylie performed the song acapella by request in Nottingham during the Kiss Me Once Tour.
