"Oh Santa" was co-written by Kylie, Richard Stannard, Ash Howes and Steve Anderson, while the latter three handled the production. The song runs for two minutes and thirty eight seconds, written in the key of B major, and set at a tempo of 118 beats per minute.
Release[]
"Oh Santa" was initially released as the first of three bonus tracks on Kylie Christmas; the album was then re-issued in 2016 and subtitled Snow Queen Edition; six songs were added, and the track listing was rearranged, with "Oh Santa" appearing as the nineteenth track.
Live performances[]
Kylie included the song on her Christmas concert series at the 2015 show, but was not included in the 2016 set list, following the release of the Snow Queen Edition.
